Gerry Lauzon’s 1980’s BRC cruiser

So my crappy bike is a 1980’s BRC cruiser that I pulled from the trash( I have no clue how much they were worth new, but I don’t think it was that much). The parts on it come to a grand total of $70. That would be the handlebars for $30 and both tires for $40 that I bought on sale at Canadian Tire last year. It is a single speed coaster brake job and I rode it all summer. I figured I put in about 1200 km on it this summer. I mostly do rides in the city. The rest of the parts came from other bikes that I found in the trash. I’ll leave it up to you to see if it qualifies.

“Crappy” is in the eye of the beholder. This cost you a fraction of what the Bike of Doom cost me, when I add in BOD repairs, and is probably a better bike. One of these days I will restore my own “found” bike.
