Blank T-shirts for a Bike of Doom clothing line?

Bike of Doom Shirt?I’ve been thinking recently of some kind of giveaway or prizes for readers of Bike of Doom. Specifically, T-shirts, with “Bike of Doom” silkscreened on the back. In black, of course. I thought I might even be able to sell these online and make a little profit. Yes, sell them. Hey, it costs money to keep The Bike of Doom on the road, not to mention hosting this blog and its domain. The potential cost of such a project has seemed a little prohibitive, until I recently ran into an outfit called WholeSaleDirectUSA who sell blank T-shirts for as little as little as $1.50 a piece.

As well as T-shirts, WholeSaleDirectUSA carries different kinds of urban wear, regular, Hip Hop, hoodies, long sleeved Ts and other items, all high quality and heavyweight according to their Web site. Prices range from as low as $1.50 and up for blank T-shirts to $7 and up for hoodies and sets. Potentially, Bike of Doom could have its own clothing line. Do you see Paris Hilton as the spokesperson? I don’t either, but hey, it bears thinking about!

The WholeSaleDirectUSA Website is not pretty, but it’s easy to use and functional. Browse their online catalogue and shop online. Payments are accepted through a secure form. Be careful if you’re ordering online, though. The minimum order volume is one dozen. That means when you enter a quantity of ‘1′ in the online form, you’re ordering twelve shirts. Granted, those dozen shirts will only cost you as much as a single shirt somewhere else, but unless you’ve got a lot of room in your sock drawer, or plan on giving away shirts as presents for the rest of your life, make sure you enter the right number.

That would be handy if they were in Australia. I like the idea of only going clothes shopping once a decade or so. ;-)
